1. Update QuickBooks:

Ensure that all users are using the same version and release of QuickBooks.

Update QuickBooks to the latest version on all workstations.

2. Check Network Connection:

Ensure that all computers are connected to the same network.

Verify that network cables are securely connected.

Check for any network interruptions or outages.

3. Hosting Settings:

On the computer where the company file is stored, check if hosting is turned on.

Open QuickBooks and go to "File" > "Utilities."

Verify that "Host Multi-User Access" is selected.

4. Restart QuickBooks Database Server Manager:

On the computer where the company file is stored, restart the QuickBooks Database Server Manager.

Open the "Services" window (press Windows key + R, type services.msc, and press Enter).

Locate and restart the "QuickBooksDBXX" service (XX stands for the version).

5. Verify Hosting on Workstations:

On each workstation:

Open QuickBooks and go to "File" > "Utilities."

Ensure that "Stop Hosting Multi-User Access" is selected.
