More than just protecting the skin I always look for stuff that also adequately moisturize my skin because I don’t like layering up too many products and then feel uncomfortable throughout the day waiting to take it off. So when Ifinally found this, I was relieved!

My Experience with Essence Mono Eyeshadow – Blockbuster:Essence has some great eye shadow singles as well as palettes, all with different finishes. This particular shade is from the Matte range. This shade looks very good on medium skin tones with yellow undertones as well. I am so impressed with this eye shadow, there is very little fallout and is so smooth. Considering that its a matte eye shadow, it is extremely good as matte eye shadows tend to be much more chalky and powdery compared to other finishes. Since the day I bought it, I have been using it almost daily on my brow bone, to get that clean brow look. It is much pigmented, just a single swipe and there is good color payoff.
In the swatches, I have swatched it alone as well as with NYX eyeshadow base. I have very oily lids and this stays on for around 5-6 hours without a base after which it starts to crease and fade. When paired with a base, it stays easily for 7- 8 hours. I have not faced any problem in blending the eye shadow; it blends easily and does not look patchy at all. I just wish the packaging was a little attractive, but anyway, this see-through packaging helps a lot in storing it.

I have already reviewed shade 142 and now, I am reviewing shade 145. I expected shade 142 to be prettier than 145. I was expecting a very average color from 145, but when I got my order and tried both of these lipsticks; I liked 145 more than 142.
Lakme Enrich Satin Lip Color Shade 145 has a mixture of coral, pink and brown in it. It has more pink and coral than brown. There is no shimmer and the shade has glossy sheen to it. This color looks light pale pink on my lips. It hardly looks coral on my lips. In bright light, you can see the coral tones it has. This shade tilts towards peach. This color will suit fair to medium skin tones the best. It will wash out warmer and dusky skin tones. This color might be a MLBB shade for many Indian skin tones. I like that this color doesn’t look bold or bright on my face and I can easily wear it in the day and in sunlight. This color can be easily worn to college or office on light makeup days. This is not the type of color which will instantly lift up a dull face and give a glow to it, but it just gives a hint of color to the face. It will look good on no-makeup days.

The last time my brother-in-law went to France on an official trip, my sister asked him to look for some hair product that would give her hair a glossy effect. MY TAKE ON BYPHASSE LAQUE CHEVEUX HAIR SPRAY FIXATION HAIR FORTE:
This is a huge 400 mL bottle. It is quite heavy and not easy to carry around. This is an aerosol hair spray with nozzle that sprays a fine mist which first gives out alcoholic scent, but then settles as a mild, subtle smelling pleasant fragrance. This is an Ultra Strong Fixation Extra Forte hair spray, so I thought it would be sticky and weigh down on the hair, but no, this doesn’t feel sticky on hair, gives the most natural hold, and does not feel heavy on the hair. I do not do elaborate hairstyles. I just leave my hair open sometimes after curling it at the ends. After I spray it on the curls that I have made with my styler, it holds in the curls even while allowing movement of the hair. That’s a fantastic quality in a hair spray because there’s one spray that was used on my hair on my wedding day that was so annoyingly sticky. After using this hair spray, hair does not look stiff, is soft to touch, and I can comb through it without any resistance. Some hair sprays do come with UV protection, but this does not have any such protection. Since Byphasse hair spray is not heavy or sticky on hair, it will work well in humid conditions and summers.

Flower is a well-known budget-friendly and high quality makeup brand which is owned by the gorgeous celebrity, Drew Barrymore who needs no introduction. It is interesting to note that Drew Barrymore launched her products with Wal-Mart exclusively to make them easily accessible and affordable for every deserving beauty diva! I was curious about this brand ever since I heard about it and finally I opened my account with this dewy, rose, sheer up tint! I am not sure about the other products in this brand, but their sheer up tints seems to be tricky on our Asian skin, though their pigmentation and buildable coverage comes as a very pleasant surprise for me! This subtle shimmery tomato red lip tint comes in a retractable plastic crayon packaging with safety cap and self-sharpening property as per their claim. It does have a very faint synthetic smell which is not bothering. It is absolutely travel friendly and average packaging overall.
My Experience with Flower Sheer Up Lip Tint – Dewy Rose:Dewy Rose seems to be the most pigmented and wearable shade out of all limited five shades – Airy Orchid, Bare Blush, Lacy Laurel,http://www.makeupbop.com/, and Sheer Blossom respectively! Though their “Airy Orchid” shade also seems pigmented (I am planning to try it as well) unlike other pale shades which might be tricky on our Indian skin tones! Dewy Rose is a tangy tomato red shade with subtle hint of sparkles which are way mild on my lips. It immediately brightens up my skin tone without looking frosty or loud!
I am not into sheer lip colors yet and I was really skeptical about these sheer up tints initially; however their intense pigmentation changed my mind! It gives nearly 80% coverage on my lips in just 2-3 swipes which makes it ideal for pigmented lips though it might give medium coverage on deeply pigmented lips. It delivers translucent tomato red pigmentation in one single swipe which hides my lip patches up to a great extent without any frosty or shimmery look. I can notice some shimmer, but once I swipe it on the lips,http://makeupbop.com/p/urban-decay-naked-3rd-eyeshadow-palette-315, they are barely noticeable! I think they are more than just lip tints, full fledged glossy lip colors probably!
The texture of the lip tint is another pleasant surprise, it’s soft and hydrating on my lips. I would not call them intensely hydrating though. They easily glide on my lips without any tugging and pulling and deliver intense color payoff in minimum 1-2 strokes. It neither settles in my lip crevices nor bleeds like cheap lip tints. Even if they are highly pigmented, I still notice that they give lightweight translucent glossy finishing on the lips! However,http://makeupbop.com/benefit-m-1, I doubt if they work wonders on dry, chapped lips as they neither accentuate my dry lips, but they don’t treat my lips as well! I often wear it over lip balm which affects its pigmentation and staying power, but it still manages to survive 4-6 hours with that sheer glossy juicy sheen on my lips. It might bleed with multiple swipes over lip balm.
On an average, this dewy rose tint stays for good 6+ hours on my lips without fading or feathering with light snacks and water sips. It does need touch ups after heavy meals though. I am happy that it does not leave any stain behind other than subtle shimmer which gets easily rinsed off with water. Overall, I am quite impressed with this sheer lip tint, being a typical lipstick gal! I want to try the other shades which might surprise me with their intense color payoff though they are not intensely hydrating like other balmy lip crayons in the market.

It is an average lip tint which you can try for its buildable color payoff, finish, and lasting power, provided you find your perfect shade!
