Although catch-up system changes will not be available immediately, other adjustments are. D2R is co-developed by China's NetEase games which has a long-standing partnership with Blizzard to launch games such as World of Warcraft and Overwatch in China. Blizzard recently announced it would be ending its collaboration with NetEase next year, which will lead to a range of Blizzard games being removed for the entire region. The support for D2R in China, but, will continue because it is protected under the terms of a separate agreement.
