Fut 23：PSVR 2 feels poised to be an important step from wangyue's blog

PSVR 2 is yet to receive a date after 2023. However, Sony is trying to make sure that it has enough PS5 consoles to play games with the new headset. The headset will work only on PS5 and won't be compatible with backwards-compatible PSVR games.

What is known about the hardware is that it has some beastly specs. Similar to that of the PS5 along with the DualSense controller, Sony added haptic feedback, adaptive triggers inside-out tracking, eye-tracking, also 3D music into the package that has not yet been given the final price.

"PSVR 2 feels poised to be an important step for the gaming market," Tamoor Hussain wrote in GameSpot's PSVR 2 preview. "It remains to be seen if PSVR 2 will be able to draw widespread curiosity, but at very least I'm more confident that it will bring us one step closer towards achieving the full potential of this device."
