When World of Warcraft Classic first began to launch in WOTLK Gold the year 2019. players completed the game's first mission on day one. This set the stage for the whole game going forward, as players who had years of experience and a min-maxing approach made short work of almost every challenge that the original edition of Blizzard's MMORPG could offer them.
Blizzard wants to change the game's rules in World of Warcraft Classic's upcoming Season of Mastery, which is about bringing some more challenges to Azeroth as well as fresh servers, a more rapid update schedule for content, and more challenging raid encounters. Unfortunately, Blizzard is going to need to make bosses more difficult if they wish to pose any kind of threat to the game's most loyal players.
World of Warcraft Classic - Announcement
A recent beta test of Season of Mastery let players go toe-to-toe with enhanced versions of bosses from the game's initial two raids: Molten Core And Onyxia's Lair. Despite all the bosses receiving the standard 100% health boost and the majority of bosses also receiving extra mechanics that were patched out of the game originally the players were still able to make short battle with their adversaries. But that wasn't exactly unexpected since Blizzard making it clear in a public forum post that they believed that the full impact of changes could "likely not be meaningfully felt" by longtime players of the game.
"As we looked at Beta testers in-game as well as listened to their reactions to our fixes and modifications, it confirmed what we had already believed prior to buy WOW WOTLK Classic Gold this test: simply increasing mob health and returning a few mechanics removed was not hitting the mark we were hoping for in a season which was focused on speedier progress and "more difficult" material," Blizzard writes.
