This morning, Blizzard Entertainment hosted a YouTube livestream on their account of the official World of Warcraft account to reveal the game's next major expansion. The expansion is titled Dragonflight The following World of Warcraft chapter will return to Azeroth with five distinct zones within the Dragon Isles, one of which is a previously undiscovered starting zone. 

Even better, Dragonflight marks the start of a new era in which players will be able to take on the role of a race known as Dracthyr which is a hybrid of human and dragon race that will only be able to adopt an Evoker class. The stream also revealed some details on Dragonriding as well as a user interface revamp, new dungeons and forthcoming raids. At the time of writing, Blizzard has not yet announced details about the release date for Dragonflight.

The Dragonflight announcement comes just a few several weeks after Blizzard released World of Warcraft's Cross-Factions update which was a game-changing patch, but certain players believe came out just a bit too late. It will be fascinating to see how players react to Dragonflight after all is completed, particularly because the expansion will completely alter the game's experience with regard to navigation, gameplay, and the user experience in general.
