According to Steam Charts, over a million people now play Lost Ark. The game broke records when it launched in North America and several other regions in February, becoming the most concurrent game ever on the PC game store/platform Steam after PUBG. Some of the game’s servers are still often busy and difficult to join. And many players are keen to buy Lost Ark Gold for a better gaming experience.
It’s hard not to get addicted. Players can try out several skills that look and feel powerful in the first few minutes of the game, and take down impressive looking bosses with a few taps. Some players have opted to buy platinum “Founder’s Packs,” and many friends are nearing the end. It only takes a dozen hours to reach level 50, the level where many consider the game to begin, really. And many players want to get more Lost Ark Gold to improve their strength.
Amazon Games, which publishes Lost Ark in North America, Europe, Latin America, Australia and New Zealand, has relied on the massive amount of content the developers at South Korean studio Smilegate have added to the game over the past two years to attract audiences. Amazon worked with the studio to localize the dialogue in English, French, Spanish, and German. Unlike Amazon Games’ original games Crucible and New World, which had to find new audiences, Lost Ark has one built into some pockets of the Asian diaspora since something released there before it.
It also appealed to gamers who already enjoyed games like MapleStory, Black Desert Online, and League of Legends. In 2019, Lost Ark won the Korea Game of the Year award, the Korea Game Awards, and peaked at 260,000 concurrent players in the country alone. Before Lost Ark, Amazon had a rocky record in gaming. Crucible was shut down on November 2020, a few months after its release. New World is still receiving updates, even though its player base is declining. So Lost Ark is still boiling. If players want to make a career in the game, they can buy Lost Ark Gold at IGGM to get more help.
