The fears that esports could be obscure ideas, that 2K22 MT

year that global earnings from esports are expected to increase to
$1.1bn in 2019.
Donohue points out that even in the past three
years, in the three seasons, our conversations have been vastly
different from what they were prior to when the league's launch. Kirk
Lacob, Warriors Assistant Director of Operations, recently told me that
esports was "absolutely growing into a mature sport".

talks about the benefits of a league run by the NBA office in regards to
recruiting partners. "The advantage of being the NBA 2K brand is that
we have fantastic relationships with a lot of these partners, that's why
we can assist them to guide them through eSports and assist them in
understanding how to leverage eSports as a means to amplify their
brands."
Another benefit for businesses that which the NBA 2K
League has, is that the game is easy to understand. Donohue emphasizes
that esports could sometimes be challenging for viewers. "While our
games aren't exactly easy to follow it's not necessary to play in order
to enjoy the arena. If you understand basketball you'll understand it."
Advertising
within the game is also well-established. Donohue says it's normal to
