Recently, I've had a lot of talks (arguments) regarding the CC's. Most people like "slayer dart" for barrows OSRS Fire Cape. Even players with very high levels of lvl believe that slayer dart is the best way to do barrows. This might work out better for you because it is in line with your style. You might also have an extremely high mage (85+), defense of 90+ and 80+ prayer. This means that you could get 342147219 chests in a single trip. Good for you, but melee is better for me. I am able to do more chests per trip and also save money on 100plus slayer dart castings.
Most people who do barrows are lower lvl then those who do it, clearly with lower stats and are doing it for money. In the past nine months, I've done a lot of barrows. I am able to melee as well as mage. I prefer melee. I use 3 pots and one super set. Depending on how the brothers attack me, I'm able to do around 3-4 chests. I'm able to only get 2 to 3 chests with the slayer dat when I'm lucky. This was tested on my own character. might not be true for other people.
Now the other thing is, why is it considered that veracs is the only "worthwhile" melee technique? I have tried barrows with the whip and defense as well as BGS. They are much more effective than veracs versions. I couldn't complete one trip due to the slow speed of attack for the lower hit.
