MMOexp: This will give the Tarnished weapon a melee attack from AventurineLe's blog

Like the uchigatana's weapon using the left shoulder button sheathes the blade to prepare for Elden Ring Runes unleashing a quick strike, but on top of the devastating physical strike, drawing the Moonveil Katana also triggers an blue projectile wave. This will give the Tarnished weapon a melee attack that can play at range.

Transient Moonlight is what makes the Moonveil deadly. Even after FromSoftware stealthily nerfed it in a recent patch, the katana still quickly builds up the blood loss status effect, hits hard when upgraded, and shoots out a Vergil-from-Devil-May-Cry-style blade wave. In PvE this weapon skill can be an ideal way to take a few hits within while maintaining distance. It's a blessing. This skill lets you keep the pressure on within close proximity, and lets you interrupt the majority of casting animations from a distance.

Being the victim is quite a hassle, especially when there's folks on both sides. Many love the Moonveil, that it has helped them fight multiple bosses and invaders in succession. Others say it's broken due to players spam Transient Moonlight too often. There are some who are apparently averse to the Moonveil that they named their Tarnished to transmit their hatred towards other users. It's a bit extreme.

I get it. Engaging with a weapon that quickly releases a projectile that is extremely damaging can be a bit frustrating in best site to buy elden ring items PvP. Yet, at the same, as a devout practitioner of katana, I'm in love with the Moonveil. It's the kind of weapon that inspires the otaku inside me which allows me to play my ideal the ronin of Rurouni Kenshin or even as Elden Ring's own samurai his Bloody Finger Hunter Yura, instead of some rough and shabby stained. It would be nice if my ghost dogs and I could take down that damn Magma Wyrm.
