It's like yesterday FromSoftware fans were worried they'd die prior to the time that Elden Ring arrived, and it's now a full month removed from Elden Ring Runes its launch. Since then, dedicated players have eagerly gone through every part of this game's vastness, and resulted in fantastic coverage on MMOexp dot com.
If you've missed out In case you missed it, here's a quick summary of Elden Ring news that we've written about over the last few weeks.
Elden Ring received rave reviews the game received rave reviews, with many critics applauding developer FromSoftware's shift towards an open-world-style format (even if this also made the tutorial difficult to understand). Steam users were similarly pleased however, with some criticisms about the game's performance on even the most powerful PCs. My review--objectively the best around in the sense that my editors didn't pressure me to fit in 100 hours of gameplay in a couple of days--was dropped last week. It's simple, Elden Ring will be considered one of the top games of 2022.
We quickly discovered that Elden Ring was pure FromSoftware rubbish when the first trailer was leaked a few days before it's official debut. It's fun to look back and trying to figure out the meaning of all the proper nouns the film introduced to an then-ignorant fanbase. I was particularly interested in what it would take to murder Dung Eater, a character, who sadly doesn't match the absurdity of his name in the entire game.
I was pretty thrilled to find out that Patches is present inside Elden Ring, and as such made his past in Armored Core, Dark Souls, in addition to buy Elden Ring Runes Bloodborne one of the first pieces I wrote about the game.
