Some rumors regarding World of Warcraft coming to the Xbox marketplace have been circulated on the web since November, with some reports suggesting that the port was going to WOTLK Gold be revealed at the 2022 Game Awards. After the Game Awards come and gone and the game's release date still unknown, it was not clear if World of Warcraft would find ways to be available on consoles. After Activision-Blizzard's acquisition by Microsoft, purchased by Microsoft but the possibility of porting World of Warcraft to Xbox could be all but inevitable. Xbox Game Pass Microsoft's online game service, could enable World of Warcraft instantly available for the Xbox community to experience the vast dungeons of Azeroth as the game's first release.

Despite the announcement of Microsoft's acquisition of the company, it's still unclear whether World of Warcraft will come to the Xbox. It is expected that the acquisition of Activision Blizzard will take place in 2023 but there's plenty that could be changed during the time. It's certainly logical for World of Warcraft to arrive on Xbox, as it's still going well and will reach all new players on Microsoft's console. However, it's not yet time to know if it's a certain thing. In any event, World of Warcraft will soon be part of Microsoft and could create new opportunities for the franchise in the future.

In Blizzard's card game for 2014. Hearthstone adds a brand-new honor system that is fully embracing The Horde as well as Alliance rivalry from World of Warcraft. The content of Hearthstone is derived from the mythology of Warcraft or World of Warcraft, with the prior Hearthstone expansion that took players to the Alliance Capital Stormwind. The most recent expansion called Fractured In Alterac Valley is due out on the 7th of December and pays tribute the one WoW's oldest Horde combatants, the Horde Alliance battlegrounds.

The Alterac Valley battleground was released in WoW in June of 2005 with patch 1.5.0. The region is situated in the Alterac Mountains, which lie between the Horde outpost of Mor'Shan Rampart and the Alliance's Silverwing Outpost in Ashenvale buy WOTLK Classic Gold. In Alterac there is a conflict between the Horde and the Alliance. Horde is controlled by General Drek'Thar of the Frostwolf clan, and the Alliance is commanded by the General Vanndar Stormpike of the Stormpike guard. Both Drek'Thar as well as Vanndar are brand new legendary cards that will be available as part of the Hearthstone expansion.
