The players have seen a few glimpses of D2R Items the game with a great look at the four classes announced including the primordial Sorceress up to the agile Rogue. Fans were aware that there was another class to be revealed, and maybe some were hoping that the Xbox as well as the Bethesda Games Showcase would provide the last piece of the puzzle.
It was a good thing for the fans that Blizzard did in fact use the occasion to announce that the final class was the Necromancer. Even though this is a character that was featured on the cover of Diablo 2 and Diablo 3 however, it appears that the new version comes with a few variations.
The Necromancer is the fifth and last class to be revealed for D2R Ladder. and before the announcement there was a fair number of speculations about what the final class might be. In order to maintain balance across all five classes players speculated that it might be more focused on fighting.
The list of classes which were already announced included a number of characters returning from Diablo 2. from the Rogue who was not seen since the first game, to that of the Druid making a return to Diablo 2. Certain players might have been expecting a new class, but the D2R Ladder's Necromancer does look like an excellent choice.
The trailer for cinematic D2R Ladder's Necromancer class was suitably dark and atmospheric. It matched the tone for cheap diablo 2 resurrected items the newest game, which plans to incorporate Diablo 2's more moody appearance and macabre style with Diablo 3's more edgy medieval design.
