HP Printer Ink from Ronald SMith's blog

HP Ink is one of the best and popular printing options for users. There are lots of cartridges that a customer can choose as per the demand i.e. for office or home. Commonly two types of cartridges are available one is Black and the second one is tri-colour. The tri-colour includes colours “cyan, magenta and yellow”.  Both the cartridges are used for photo prints, text, etc. HP develops printer that uses the ink cartridges for a much longer time. The four colours in the 2 cartridges combine to produce immense or beautiful pictures. These cartridges are long-lasting as it is well designed to work with the Inkjet printers that are very inexpensive. If you want to use individual cartridges you can also use them. Somehow these cartridges are not good for the printer that prints frequently. It is best for home printing.

These mentioned cartridges are similar in size and comfortably fit into the slot. Changing a cartridge means changing the head. If you place the wrong cartridge in the not suitable slot then it will not print the pages. This is because of the gold chip present on the printer which has a different pattern or series for a particular printer. If the printer does not match it then it will show it defected and reject the cartridge. The size of the Black and the Color cartridges are the same but seems to be different in colours.

Individual ink cartridges

These type of cartridges has 4 different colours for 4 different inks. All 4 different tanks have different that can be easily distinguishable. The best advantage of this type is cost-cutting. You don’t have to change the cartridges regularly. You just have to add the ink in the tanks which are going to be empty. Another major reason is no Print Head as it is built in the printer. You need to replace the Print Head over time and it costs you more, but a regular maintenance routine can keep the printer running smoothly.

What quality of Ink is Used?

HP Printer Ink or Pigment-based ink. Somehow Pigment-based is used in the black cartridges and it can print the text beautifully. Dye-based ink is mainly used in colour cartridges as it is good in printing photos.
