With the end of the NFL season upon us, that usually means the league's yearly coaching purge is all about to kick into top gear. After the season kicked off in September, you will find 32 head coaches roaming the sidelines around the NFL, but maybe not every one of these men will be arriving in 2021.

As a matter of factwe know three trainers who certainly won't be returning and that's Bill O'Brien, Dan Quinn and Matt Patricia, who got axed during the season. Three in-season firings was the maximum amount the NFL has seen since 2010 when four trainers got let go.

Heading into the 2021 offseason, there could be as many as six teams looking for a new coach and that number could jump even higher if people see any surprise moves. Ever since then, the Texans have hired a search firm to assist them find their new trainer. According to ESPN.com, the search firm has advocated Seahawks offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer as somebody Houston should look at hiring. It's also believed that Houston will have its attention on Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy. Although the Texans have not officially interviewed either of those candidates, they have conducted at least 2 interviews and people arrived with former NFL head coaches Marvin Lewis and Jim Caldwell.
