Playing countless hours on a single player since you level up considerably slower than in past games, simply to realize halfway so you would like to alter your player or create another build after you have figured out the unique tendencies of NBA 2K20, however you can't without starting or paying 40 to bypass grinding repetitive ass matches against a CPU, isn't enjoyable. In previous games, the actual grind was much faster, and though it had been much more limited, concentrated on cool items for the player like endorsements and getting to the all star game, etc, not the evolution of your players involvement in certain trying way too hard to be off the beaten path and finally generic buttocks story - that cares about that? Nobody wants to go play in China for a bit if they know that it's only a tedious prequel to landing in the NBA - there's no point of that and it just adds a bunch of naturally hours of gameplay.
Putting unskippable cutscenes at a $60 game that are part of a story nobody cares about, is not ok or enjoyable. Neither is your dev team putting that much effort into a cookie cutter story that's never interesting or particular while there are well documented uncontrolled fundamental gameplay issues that have been current year over year and have not been fixed (ex. "B" in 2k18 - who sat in
