From the buildings, coaxial cables or copper cables are used to provide connectivity to individual units or households. This approach provides internet connectivity within buildings, but does not provide connectivity to individual units or households outside of the buildings.


Finally, there are also hybrid approaches that combine different methods of FTTH to provide connectivity to different parts of the network infrastructure.
